Flavour profile: La Pommée
La Pommée has a rich and mature apple flavour, rounded sweetness and lively acidity, with a gently syrupy texture and lingering cider character.
Fruit-led and well balanced, it brings sweetness, acidity and depth together in one ingredient. It can be used in place of traditional balsamic vinegar when a fresher orchard character is preferred.
Artisan Wholegrain Mustard ‘A l’ancienne’
A French wholegrain mustard with character, ground on stone mills and prepared with Maison Le Paulmier’s cider vinegar. Its grainy texture and punchy flavour make it a natural companion to La Pommée on the shelf.
Serve with charcuterie and roast meats, spread into sandwiches or stir through a potato salad dressing. A useful addition to deli counters, pantry displays and savoury hampers.

Rooted in Normandy’s orchard traditions
Maison Le Paulmier is an artisan vinegar maker based between the Camembert and Livarot valleys, in the heart of Normandy’s Pays d’Auge.
The producer works with the natural resources and orchard traditions of the region, including cider apples, pears and wild plants from hedgerows and forest environments. La Pommée is crafted from sweet and bittersweet cider-apple varieties, giving it a distinctly Norman character.
